Carego International was established in May 2009. Carego International was created to build and deliver effective healthcare solutions to the emerging markets. Carego is focused on delivering quality, cost effective primary care, generic pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and IT solutions to the markets we serve.
Carego International is the brainchild of two entrepreneurs specializing in African healthcare services and healthcare IT. Steve Landman of Carego International and Liza Kimbo of LiveWell Kenya have come together to create this dynamic world changing organization. These two leaders combined bring over 30 years experience in healthcare to the Carego International brand.
Carego International's business model is comprised of four diversified health service business units. Medical Supply, Technology Services, Medical Facilities and E-Health Solutions. Each unit is positioned to operate separately with its own set of services which are sustainable and scalable to the emerging markets they serve. Each business unit can leverage all resources within the Carego Brand Portfolio of services to reduce cost and increase efficiencies in local markets.
